Wolfram Seidemann is CEO of Giesecke+Devrient Currency Technology GmbH and was appointed Group Executive Banknote at Giesecke & Devrient GmbH in November 2016.

Prior to this, Wolfram served as Chairman of the Management Board of Papierfabrik Louisenthal and as Head of the Paper division, a role in which he was responsible for Sales and Marketing of Banknote Processing Systems worldwide.

Wolfram joined G&D as Head of International Research and Development Chipcard in 1999. He then took on a series of senior management positions at G+D subsidiaries, among them Managing Director of Giesecke+Devrient Asia in Singapore, President of G+D Teco Taiwan in Taipei, and Member of the Board of Giesecke & Devrient India in New Delhi.

Previously, Wolfram worked as Head of R&D and Innovation Management at the Economics Department of the Technical University of Munich, and as an industry consultant in this area.

Wolfram studied Electrical Engineering and Business Administration. He holds a PhD in Innovation Management from the Technical University of Munich.
