David J. Robertson holds a degree in Experimental Psychology from the University of Glasgow, and a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from University College London (UCL).
As a post-doctoral researcher in the York FaceVar Lab (www.facevar.com), David led the applied face recognition strand of research between 2013 and 2017. He has built a number of partnerships with government agencies in the United Kingdom and USA.
David now works at the University of Strathclyde, School of Psychological Sciences & Health, in Glasgow, Scotland (@UOSPsychology on twitter).
Identity fraud from face morphs
In three experiments, we assess the extent to which human operators and a smartphone algorithm accept face morphs as a genuine match to a target face.
