Andreas Wolf studied Mathematics and Computer Science at the Humboldt University Berlin and the Technical University of Munich. He holds a PhD in Computer Science and has held technology-oriented positions in several IT companies.

Andreas initiated the first European Common Criteria certification of a biometric product and today works as Principal Scientist Biometrics and Director Third Party Funded Projects with Bundesdruckerei GmbH, Berlin.

Andreas is the author of a number of books and journal articles, as well as conference papers and patent applications. He teaches at the Free University Berlin and is one of the German DIN experts delegated to the ISO/IEC JTC1 committees SC17, SC31 and SC37, and to the European Standards Committee CEN. He is also editor and co-editor of several standards.



ANANAS: how to prevent morphed portraits in ID documents – a project status

Face morphing attacks are a threat to the electronic passport system. ANANAS analyses different morphing attack pipelines and quality assurance likely to be used by attackers, in order to develop detection countermeasures and prevent such attacks. The initial results of this ongoing research will be presented here.
