Beat Grossenbacher has been Head of Cash at the Swiss National Bank since 2013. Prior to this, he served as a Consultant to the Swiss National Bank for its New Banknote Project.
From 2002 to 2009, Beat worked as an Adviser at KPMG for Corporate Governance Services, Internal Audit, Risk Management and Internal Control Systems, and spent 10 years at OVD KINEGRAM AG/KURZ Group, from 1991 to 2001, where he was responsible for different banknote and document security projects around the world.
Beat holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a university degree in Microtechnology & Optics.
Introduction of the new Swiss banknote series – success factors in communication
The presentation will offer insights into a successful communication and information campaign introducing a new banknote series that involved different stakeholders and combined new and old media to raise public awareness, and into what the Swiss National Bank has learnt from the process.
